“Am început de mic să inventez poveşti. Poveşti din care zânele erau date afară în şuturi de către femei protective şi bărbaţi frumoşi. Cu măiestrie-mi aşezam cuvintele în versuri, de-a lungul portativului de care eram fascinat. Prietenii cei mai buni îmi erau creionul şi hârtia, şi locul cel mai fain de joacă era tărâmul imaginaţiei, îngrădit doar de scalpul acoperit de şuviţe blonde.
Credeam că lumea este tot ceea ce văd şi că e toată bună. Credeam că pot să-i fiu mereu prieten. Eram doar un copil fără de nume.
Şi îmi doream să cresc, să fiu ca toţi acei oameni înalţi pe care arzător doream să-i întâlnesc.

Îmi tot scriam povestea şi o cântam în scări de bloc, pe timp de ploaie, în faţa băncilor pline de-admiratori, scăldate de palpabile, inofensive raze de soare, pe cărarea înconjurată de maci zâmbitori, umbrită de frunzele nucilor sub care mă adăposteam din când în când. Mi-amintesc şi acum ziua în care mi-am mânjit pentru prima dată inocenţa, încercând să le răpesc roadele.
De atunci mi-am cântat povestea pe străzile pe care nimeni nu te vede, pe cele unde nimeni nu te-aude, apoi de-a lungul celor unde oamenii te uită. Am păşit curajos pe punţile strâmte şi fragile ale încrederii, crescând până la înălţimea celor ce mi-au încurajat greşelile spre a mă prăbuşi mai repede în golul lumii lor, înşelându-mi aşteptările. Mă luam la trântă cu împotrivirile celor mulţi, ce mă privau de entuziasm. Acum, în mare parte, le ignor. Şi pe deţinătorii lor, deopotrivă. Tot ei sunt cei ce mă doresc perfect, deşi unii vor afirma altceva. Mă vor la timp, la timpul lor, atunci când au nevoie de vreo parte din mine, când poftele lor devin neînfrânate şi gata să mă-nghita într-o clipă. Şi dacă nu mă vor perfect, cel mai probabil şi dezamăgitor e gândul că nu mă mai vor deloc.

Însă acum, copilul ăsta este mai înalt şi are-un nume. Şi celelalte binecuvântări primite-odată cu acesta. Şi este încă, poate în mod surprinzător, un copil bun, prea bun pentru mulţi dintre cei care-l cunosc, cei care-l vor, cei care-l cheamă. Încă acordă-ncredere, însă atât cât se cuvine, iubeşte profund făr‘ a primi nimic în schimb, îşi poartă-n continuare curiozitatea spre extreme.
Cele mai bune prietene îi sunt câmpurile de editare. Pe ele se dezlănţuie, aleargă, dansează, urlă, tresare şi le udă cu lacrimi, mulţumită celor ce îl fac să plângă.
Acolo se nasc strugurii savuroşi din care se prepară vinul alb ce-i ţine companie în fiecare seară de vineri, până în ziua-n care îl va împărţi cu cineva care să-i returneze dragostea în cantităţi iresponsabile. Nu mai permite nimănui să facă sex cu talentul, frumuseţea ori cu inteligenţa lui, nu mai răspunde la telefon amăgirilor, nu le ascultă nici măcar mesajele vocale lăsate în căsuţa prăfuită.
Simte ca se iroseşte şi îmbătrâneşte mai repede decât ar trebui într-un oraş în care se perindă doar sufletele adormiţilor lumii acesteia.
Şi-a propus să facă tot ce-i stă în putinţă pentru a-l părăsi, ca pe un vis urât uitat în zorii unei zile însorite şi să se-ndrepte cu tot ce a mai rămas bun în el către metropola unde, îmbrăţişat de semeni uimitori, îşi va regăsi casa.

Încă mai scriu poveşti. Poveşti în care tu te regăseşti.”

Pe tine ce te face uimitor? E vorba despre o culoare? Este vreun sunet sau un acord? Vreo scamatorie? Succesul dobândit la job? Un tic verbal sau un anume gest? Uimeşti prin aspectul tău? Numărul de cuvinte pe care le ţii minte? Viteza cu care străbaţi pe bicicletă străzile aglomerate? Colecţia ta de lacrimi? Puterea de convingere? Descărcările necontrolate de bună dispoziţie?
Acordă-ţi timp de cercetare şi descoperire a lucrurilor care te fac uimitor şi Iulian va scrie despre tine în cadrul următorului său proiect literar. Simte-te liber sa faci toate aceste lucruri cunoscute, scriind sau trimiţând la iulian_brudiu@live.com un filmuleţ cât mai grăitor.
Mai mult, vei putea apărea alături de alţi oameni uimitori într-un pictorial memorabil.

I start this post under a slight feeling of sadness and dissapoinment because, as you have probably noticed already… www.atb-music.eu is offline for almost a week. If you wonder why, well it’s because i’m having big problems with the hosting server and i just can’t leave it online from security reasons. It’s ironical… how i always loose the things that matters or i love a lot. And no, i’m not a superhuman, i do feel tired, i do feel hurt (quite a lot sometimes), i do feel hunger and thirst, i do cry and laugh, and i do feel up and down, even if besides all this, all that i let out to the world is just a smile. It is not a fake smile or something that i do because i don’t have nothing better to do. Usually i find something to smile at every day, from the simplest and the stupidest things, to the most important accomplishments. I always put “milestones” in my life so i always have something to look forward to. Career is something that in all the situations helped me get over things and always keept me going forward. Even when inside of me i was bleeding and dieing i’ve gathered all the forces i had left and put them in my designs. The second best friend i have is music, but that’s not something that you don’t know already…

Now… since i’m about to loose something that represents and represented a thing around which my life revolved i’m feeling a little bit confused and lost…

So well i’m asking for your help. If you know any good hosting, very secure (doesn’t get hacked, cracked or phished) and with 2GB+ space, please let me know. Thanks in advance!

Now, skipping to less “maaan, it’s deep!” things, i’m presenting my latest artwork (the first one for 2009, yey ), “Welcome in My World”. It’s made to complete the emotions behind “Welcome in My World” tune, which i presented in an earlier post. The song has now a “club version”, and it is available for listening on my music profile on MySpace.

This is the first video i ever made (it’s called “Welcome in My World”), so i know that it’s not so brilliant and i still had so many ideas for it that i wasn’t able to create YET… But, what i’m trying to illustrate with this video is that in our search for that “something” that free us or “somewhere” where we can be ourselves, things might get a little bit hectic or out of control, but it depends on us to control them and find this inner world where peace is restored and we feel happy.

The music is also produced by me and the vocals are mine. I got the idea for this tune during the incredible Full on Ferry Masquerade in Rotterdam. This party represented a huge influence for my creativity flow and i can only hope there will be more moments like this to come.
