About

Welcome to the world of SyntheticArt…

The story of myself as an artist (both musical and graphical artist) begins around the year 1997 when I first got my hands on my father’s acoustic guitar. Playing the guitar didn’t last long. The guitar never quite lived up to my expectations. I was always fascinated by Trance, Electronic, Techno, Rave and House music. With a guitar I found I was limited and couldn’t create the music I was so passionate about. A short while after I found something specific and powerful to curb my desire. My first love was ReBirth RB-338, so this is how my first musical productions came to life.

I spent all my childhood listening to my brother’s tapes and vinyl’s, my own musical tapes, not to mention the musical TV and radio stations! The 80’s and the 90’s deeply put a mark me. When I was about 15 years old I met a new friend at a local radio station. It was then that I started hanging around the studio. That was the moment when i got determined to follow my dream of producing music and DJing and make it come true.

Later I gave up music and focused on my other passion which was graphic design and web design. After starting my career as a web designer and creative director I found the time and the funds to start investing in music once again. Therefore I was able to produce music again.

My actual influences come from a very large palette of musical genres and visual arts. I enjoy listening to non-commercial music, commercial music, old skool tracks, new tracks and everything that has a good message and / or strong energy. Trance has always been a big influence for me and will always have a special place in my heart. Though, I don’t like fitting in patterns, being labelled and so on. I believe in trying anything in musical form that is varied and exciting. It’s all about evolution, blending and experimenting. And of course having fun and enjoying what I do to the absolute fullest!

I feel that at the moment i have stepped to another stage on my designing and musical career. In what concerns design i am moving towards the “eye candy” style, organic and fantasy style. I can’t focus on just one style because i am always curious, always getting bored very quickly and always want to see what’s beyond this. So i can say that i like to ignite bits from everything that i like, putting them through my inner filters and spit them out in my vision. The same thing is happening with my musical productions. I like to combine the dreamy, uplifting and “big spaces feeling” sounds with sounds from the reality around us. It’s like creating a bridge between reality and a sur-real land up in the sky. An impulse to always look up, reach higher and learn to release the inner self.
