Because i’m fabulous!

…Because sometimes i refuse to believe.
…Because some people never back down no matter how hard the situations are trying to drag them into the mud
…Because some dreams will never die and some people will never stop fighting for them
…Because evil doesn’t always win, no matter how tuff the reality might seem, and i have all the rights in the world to ignore it and push it away from my existance
…Because i’m not ashamed to be exactly how i am and loving every second of it
…Because i don’t care for people’s dreams of richness and glory or what they’re thinking about anything or anyone in this world
…Because i don’t need nobody to pay the bills, to take me out, to get me home, to change that burnt light bulb, to buy me flowers, to buy me those cute little grey shoes i’ve always dreamed of, to take off that hot red dress, to put me in a golden cage and feed from my sky-blue fantasy, to lift me up from the ground, to teach me how to draw, to drip violet poison in my ears, to pick up those colored pencils from the floor, or to tell me what to do
…Because i don’t get scared of the simple beautiful free things in life
…Because i’ll never stop

The First ArtWork for 2009

I start this post under a slight feeling of sadness and dissapoinment because, as you have probably noticed already… www.atb-music.eu is offline for almost a week. If you wonder why, well it’s because i’m having big problems with the hosting server and i just can’t leave it online from security reasons. It’s ironical… how i always loose the things that matters or i love a lot. And no, i’m not a superhuman, i do feel tired, i do feel hurt (quite a lot sometimes), i do feel hunger and thirst, i do cry and laugh, and i do feel up and down, even if besides all this, all that i let out to the world is just a smile. It is not a fake smile or something that i do because i don’t have nothing better to do. Usually i find something to smile at every day, from the simplest and the stupidest things, to the most important accomplishments. I always put “milestones” in my life so i always have something to look forward to. Career is something that in all the situations helped me get over things and always keept me going forward. Even when inside of me i was bleeding and dieing i’ve gathered all the forces i had left and put them in my designs. The second best friend i have is music, but that’s not something that you don’t know already…

Now… since i’m about to loose something that represents and represented a thing around which my life revolved i’m feeling a little bit confused and lost…

So well i’m asking for your help. If you know any good hosting, very secure (doesn’t get hacked, cracked or phished) and with 2GB+ space, please let me know. Thanks in advance!

Now, skipping to less “maaan, it’s deep!” things, i’m presenting my latest artwork (the first one for 2009, yey ), “Welcome in My World”. It’s made to complete the emotions behind “Welcome in My World” tune, which i presented in an earlier post. The song has now a “club version”, and it is available for listening on my music profile on MySpace.

It’s that Time of the Year…

Well it seems that it’s that time of the year when we trace the line and we check our wishlist from the last year and we see what we have managed to accomplish and what we didn’t. It’s that time of the year when everybody should try to melt a little bit their hearts and cherish a little glympse of true love and a sincere smile to everyone around us, to forgive all the people that have hurted us among the time and leave behind all the bad moments.

I don’t know how this year has been for you, but i know that for me it has been a very… full year, especially full of changes. I’ve changed the place i live, i’ve changed my job 2 times, i’ve changed most of my friends. I can’t really say that it has been my best year, because i had my fair share of dissapointments. And i truly hope that 2009 will bring more… emotional steadyness. But this year definately was an year of the new experiences, for which i’m very very glad.

So i would like to thank you all for being my friends, for supporting me in my art and music, for helping me get better and better and develop myself, not only as an artist, but also as a person. Thanks to everybody that has been there for me this year and picked me up from the ground when life or other people let me down exactly when i needed the most and also for landing me a handcherchief when i was crying my eyes out. (Sorry if i get too sentimental… but that’s life!)

I hope you all will have an awesome new year, full of joy, happyness and wonderful moments. And, the most important, lot of LOVE!

My First Video

This is the first video i ever made (it’s called “Welcome in My World”), so i know that it’s not so brilliant and i still had so many ideas for it that i wasn’t able to create YET… But, what i’m trying to illustrate with this video is that in our search for that “something” that free us or “somewhere” where we can be ourselves, things might get a little bit hectic or out of control, but it depends on us to control them and find this inner world where peace is restored and we feel happy.

The music is also produced by me and the vocals are mine. I got the idea for this tune during the incredible Full on Ferry Masquerade in Rotterdam. This party represented a huge influence for my creativity flow and i can only hope there will be more moments like this to come.
